Uhh -scans the terminal, looking for any signs of help- There are the help desks! Maybe someone there can help us. -With her hand still in his, he guides them through the masses and eventually they get to the desk- Uh hi? My girlfriend and I were hoping we could get tickets for erm… anywhere?

JFK employee: Excuse me, sir, but what was your destination? You need a desired location before buying a ticket.

Uhh, see, erm… we’re not really sure where we’d want to go. Just whatever you have that is really cheap and leaving soonish… like within the hour? -telepathically to M’gann- Maybe I should’ve thought this through before approaching her. Whoops.

-Don’t worry, Superboy, we’ll figure it out. I mean, we’ve done so much stuff that’s WAY harder than figuring this out, right?-

What’s the cheapest, soonest-leaving flight?

JFK employee: -sighs and checks her computer- We have a flight into Heathrow, London leaving in 40 minutes. Do you have any bags to check, sir and miss?

Just doing carry on with this. -He raises the duffel bag so she can see and he starts the paperwork so they can get their tickets. Once everything was taken care of, Conner leads them to the only empty seats and sighs in relief- That worked out better that I expected. -He smiles and checks the time- They should be calling us in soon…

I’ve never been to London… The only traveling I do is when we go on missions, you know? I feel like I have hardly seen earth at all! -She giggles excitedly, leaning her head on his shoulder- I’m really happy you suggested this, Superboy. It’s nice to get away for a little bit, and you’re the person I would want to go with. So… thanks.

-He adjusts them so that he can put his arm around her and kisses her forehead- I’m glad too. I haven’t seen the world either but it’d be more memorable with you. -he absentmindedly strokes her exposed arm with his thumb, keeping his ears alert in case the announcement comes-

Flight to Heathrow, London departing at 1:10 AM boarding rows AA to LL now

That’s us, love. -He grabs the duffel bag and takes her hand- I got the tickets. -Once handing them over, he grins as they make their way through the pathway to the plane and the hostesses direct them to their seats.- Take the window seat, M’gann, I don’t mind. -He lets go of her hand to struggle with the above seating storage compartment. He blushes and slinks into his seat next to M’gann when the hostess take the bag from his hand and takes care of baggage situation- Heh, I could’ve gotten it if I had more time.

Don’t worry, I know you could have. Easier than leaping tall buildings in a single bound, I would guess. -smiles and giggles, a little giddy as she opens up the window and presses her nose to the glass, only to still see the landing strip and the loading gates- This is so exciting! I can’t even take it— are you excited? Do you know what London is like?

-chuckles and watches her, his own enthusiasm growing- Yeah, I’m excited too! I only know about London through my education but I’ve never seen it. Let’s go to Buckingham Palace or the London Eye! Maybe we should find a place to stay first. -he takes her hand and kisses her before the hostess starts making the seatbelt announcements. Conner leans back in his seat and stares out the window past M’gann’s head as the hostess finishes up the announcements and the plane starts moving towards the runway. He closes his eyes and sighs, gripping the seat’s armrests as the plane takes off-

Okay, yeah, probably a good idea. I mean, we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves, this is awesome but that’s no reason to lose it or anything and WHAT WAS THAT? -As the plane takes off, revving the engine and making loud noises as it takes off- The bioship has never made any noises that are THAT loud, is something wrong? Are we going to crash? This is so strange… I mean, I know I can fly, but that doesn’t meant hat I like flying when it’s not me…
